Who We are

Daniel Wayow

BA (Honours), MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Practice Director

As a therapist who is also on his own ongoing therapy journey, my view is from the clients perspective and how I can make this journey as normal and natural as possible. Going to therapy can be hard enough - my goal is to create a natural, honest, safe place for you to heal and grow.

I have a deep love and hope for people. I believe that everyone has the capacity within themselves to become who they were born to be.

My role in your journey is to help you further discover who you truly are under your circumstances, and get the clarity and confidence to build your life on a firm foundation. You don’t have to figure it all out alone - sometimes need someone who can empathize and validate, while also challenging us.

Areas of Practice

I help clients overcome life-barriers related to: depression, communication, addiction, relationship issues, trauma, sexuality, PTSD, men’s issues, religious trauma, attachment styles, and life transitions.

Modalities

I work from a trauma-informed and culturally competent perspective, using a variety of frameworks, including: CBT, ERP, DBT, Narrative Therapy, SFT, and EFT. My therapeutic approach is tailored to your specific needs, goals, and experiences. I am client-centered and strength-based at the foundation of my treatment. I believe in the holistic treatment of the entire human being, considering aspects of the mind, body, soul, and spirit in treatment.
